hose

I noticed over the years that this part of the AC hose is covered in what looks like oil. It’s gotten worse and the AC feels warmer. Has anyone had a leak in that area before? I’m wondering how common it is. I see the replacement on rock auto for $50 but I’d like to get an opinion before I order it.
