2001 Explorer. Engine hesitation.

Hi,

I have an 01 Explorer, xlt awd, v8. While driving and when approaching approximately 45 mph, my engine seems to hesitate, hiccup..?? Anyone else have similar issues?

Fuel pump was replaced a month ago, tested fine yesterday so not the issue. Replaced the transmission fluid/filter.....no change yet.

Welcome to this forum! I've moved your thread into the stock 95-01 section. Check the fuel pressure, and add fuel injector cleaner into the gas tank.

Hello,

Is you check engine light on? Regardless, check for active or pending codes. This could be a number of problems.

Are you noticing any other anomalies, such as a rough idle, poor fuel economy, lack of power, etc.?
