2004 explorer blower motor resistor

I really need someone to talk me through replacing my blower motor resistor. After reading many posts, I understand I need to replace this because my ac and heat only work on the highest setting. I have manual controls. Please, talk to me like a 4 year old, strange I know but i've read many posts, looked under my glove box and I can't find the darn thing! I'm a single mom, which means I'm handy but I can't afford to have this fixed as it's really just a nuisance. So lets start with EXACTLY where it is lol. Thank you in advance!! Dawn

Not the location

I have a 2003 Ford Explorer Sport, That is not what the blower motor resistor looks like and that is not where it is located.
Where is it?
