4th gen rear door speakers, 5.25-6.75 subs?

Hey folks.
I'd like to install some small subs in my rear doors, specifically 5.25-6.75in. But, I want to use the stock location, using adapters.

I found a couple of shallow mount subs (under 2.5in top mounting depth).

Curious if anyone else has done this before I drop the $$$ on the drivers and adapters.

Do you plan on building enclosures for these subs? If not, you need to find subs that will work in an infinite baffle application. Post links to what you have found. That will help a bit.
