i am woundering wut the biggest lift(susp) i could go with put getting a new drive shaft

From what I have seen 4" is the highest you can go before you need to worry. Some have run their stock driveshaft with a 5.5" lift with no problems, but you'd be pushing your luck.

I run the 6" skyjacker on my 91 and have had no problems what so ever with either of my driveshafts.
I know on the 2nd gen x's they have a little shorter front driveshaft, so when they go with 4 or more, they need a new driveshaft in the front.

The biggest you could do is to do a solid axle swap and I don't think you need a new driveshaft, just a new slip yoke. Here you could get like 8" of lift.

I would recommend skyjacker all the way.
