Chugging at cruising speed on highway with A/C

My 02 4.0 SOHC is kind of chugging on the interstate at 75 with the A/C on max. If I turn the A/C off, it runs smooth. Is the clutch going out of my compressor?

My 02 4.0 SOHC is kind of chugging on the interstate at 75 with the A/C on max. If I turn the A/C off, it runs smooth. Is the clutch going out of my compressor?

Its is that, or else you may have a low charge and the clutch is cutting on and off. Mine would click in and out until I filled it completely. Check your charge with a gauge with the truck running and the A/C on max and fan full blast.
