GT40 vs GT40P Head / Engine / Manifold question

I have a 1998 Mercury Mountaineer 5.0. It was manufactured in 2/1998.

It has the older style exhaust manifolds.

Does that mean that I have GT40 heads and not GT40P heads ?

What are the differences between pre-2/1998 and post 2/1998 5.0 engines ?

Is there an egr tube on the passenger side header? If so, that is gt40p

Angled versus straight spark plugs. Casting letters by the first cylinder. Casting of three bars versus four on end.
