intermitent power windows

Hi everyone this is my 1st post so be gentle. I have a 2003 limited model explorer that all the windows don't open/close when the driver door is closed and it doesn't matter what position the window lock swithch is in. But if you open the door all the way then all the windows work without any problems. My guess is I have a harness problem and that I need to get inyo ythe insides of the drivers door panel.
Does anyone know where I van get instructions on how to open the door panel?
