- 2004 Ford Explorer
Hi than Jaap Bos here call me Jaap.
I am from Mandurah Western Australia.
I believe there is a very high concentration of Ford Explorers in our City.
My current Ford Explorer is a 2004 Limited with the V8 power plant.
My first Ford Explorer was the 1998 V6.I upgrade that one to the Limited V6 in 2000. The 1998 a moved on with 100,000Km still on the original tyres. The 2000 went at 210,000Km had just fitted the third set off tyres.
My 2004 I will have to keep as I can not find a new model will need to change to my 3 set of tyres soon. I have stayed with the Michelin tyres but would consider changing this time. Can any one recommend a good tyre?
The reason I have found this site is that the radio has stopped working in my Explorer and I was looking for solution on the Web. My ford dealer claims that the radio has had a power short. Is this Common issue?
Thanks
Jaap
