Mod's with extended service agreement ?

Can I make any modifications with an extended service agreement ? It is with first extended service corporation. I have a 2003 Explorer xls.

The word around here is that you can modify your truck, and there shouldn't be a problem with the warranty unless the dealership can prove that the modification was connected to the failure.
