Not sure if this belongs here but ill try it.

I just put in 2 new front speakers and plan on doing the back just haunt had a chance. The speakers sound great but when i put the panels back on and screwed everything in there is now a problem.

I cannot lock or unlock the doors from the inside buttons in the car or with my remote. Also i cannot open any windows unless i use the driver side buttons.

Im not sure if a wire came loose or i triggered the theft system or not but i need some help here.

I have a 2000 Explorer XLT.

Thanks

Sounds like you unplugged something or damaged some wires. The speakers themselves wouldn't have any effect on your locks or windows.

Yup I agree with arco777, sometime the factory harness for the door locks can be hard to plug back in, so make sure you hear a click or see it the clip in whenever you plug it back in. You can also pull on it just to make sure its connected.

Th problem is since the harnesses are screwed in i didn't bother taking them off. I removed the handle from the panel and let it hang.
