Rear view mirror wiring diagram

I tried to search and could not find anything regarding this.

I just purchased the following and was wondering if anyone had the diagram to show which wire is the ground (assuming black) and which wire is the one that provides power so I can hook this into the connector on the back of the RVM.

Unfortunately I do not have a volt meter to test with.

Thank you sir, I assume there is no difference between a 2016 and a 2017 Explorer in terms of needing to use slots 1 and 4 (as per that post?)

Were can I find a wiring diagram for the rear view auto dimming mirror for my 2014 explorer xlt.
I need to know which wire is ground and which wire is power when the ignition is on.

I believe so and IIRC, it's a molex connector that is shared amongst other Ford vehicles and pin1 is generally at that corner.

Are you planning to tap into the mirror as a power source? I don't know if this diagram applies to a 2014 or not. How-To: Mirrortap install for 2016+ Explorer (for Radar Detector / Dash Cam)
A multimeter would help.
