      Hi Guys

Need some info I have posted a qestion but not many answers need you all to give me some info

I have a 1996 manual explorer with some real problems I can not drive it in auto and high it will not drive in 1,2,3,4,5, or r, you can put it into gear and let the cluch out it will not go anywhere ,does anybody know why ? it will only drive in 4x4 low , so i dont think its the cluch or the gearbox .

the problem started three days ago i was on the highway and i come to brake and it sounded like it sliped out of gear with a grineing sound and the when you put you foot on the gas again the sound stoped and it went back into gear and drove. over the past three days the problem is realy bad noe as it wil not drive .

Does anybody no of any problems like this what could it be transfer case is broken or the transfer motor .

Please let me know ,please reply to this post any ideas or info

      PLEASE DO NOT QUADRUPLE POST.

I think part of the reason you are not getting many responses is because it is very hard to figure out what your problem is. Your description is not very clear.
