Ok I'm going to do the f -150 leaf spring swap
I need to know what would the best option be for the front t end?
I'm fabing up a steel front and rear bumper plus I already made and installed a 1/4" thick stainless mesh grill so there will be a good amount of extra weight up front

It's not a daily anymore but does get driven 2-3 times per week and I haul and tow w her often as well as off road
options options options are needed as well as ball park $ I will be doing all work myself torching welding grinding and fabrication is not a problem as long as there's links

thanks in advance

I think your best option is a coilover in the front.
Either replacing or in addition to your T bars.

You can get heavier bars but I don't think they'd be enough.

You could keep your Billies but I think something adjustable would be better.

Konis. I used to say Billies or Konis, now I just say Konis.

When I go coil overs I can junk my t bars right? Hate them fůckers

What's a good shock and coil combo for hauling, towing & offroading?

Just read the sticky

Does someone on here make the brackets?
Save me a **** load of time if I can buy them prefabed

Not that I know of. Last I heard a member over on TRS was making them out of his home shop. In one of those coil over threads here, is a link to the guys post, but I have no idea which thread. LOL!

Damn well then what's everyone doing then these days?
I at least need a diagram to weld uo my own set I don't have the time to design it too

I bought a set from the guy over on TRS. You can get them raw metal or black powder coat. Real nice work. Just got my shocks and coils, getting ready to ditch the t-bars myself. Also just finished building my new rear leaves using gman's write up as a guide. I hope to get them installed this weekend. Here's the link to the brackets. http://www.ranger-forums.com/suspension-tech-36/coilover-brackets-119089/page74/
