  • The first thing I did after buying my Explorer was to find a community where I could learn about my Explorer, read thru posts and find advice. I sincerely thank my fellow members for their help and advice. You’re a great group of people!
I bought a $3200, ‘99 4WD Pathfinder, 126,821 mi, solid body, extremely clean. I need a new forum. Again, thanks to y’all and good bye. Nancy
I had my ‘94 Explorer 17 yrs. In that time I was blessed with an 85% run time and repairs cost under $5K. She has been a blessing to me.
During the last 8 yrs my Ex developed issues that I couldn’t fix and couldn’t justify paying $120/hr labor.
I shopped 10 mos for an SUV, finally got one & sold the Ex, 336,788 mi, to LKQ (a U-pull) for $680. Her legacy goes on helping Ford owners repair their Explorers.
Got my ‘94 Ex in ‘04 w/221322 mi. 080719 odometer reading: 301,319! Put about $4k into repairs over the yrs. She’s been such a blessing.
Feeling Grateful! I haven't had to invest much money in repairs since I bought her in '04. She runs pretty good w/2999675 mi.
