new speed grille.. w/ pics (56k should be ok)

got my speed grille today, bottom one didn't come in because it's on backorder... it was pretty easy to install, i didn't like the clips because if you weren't careful they would scratch the crap out of your grille..

That thing would look super nice with some diamond clear stuff.

On a side note that's pretty much what I'd like to get a newer sport model to be like. But with a sunroof and leather. Not so big ont he yellow fogs either. Maybe some nice black monotone too

thanks.. i dunno, i'm not feelin the diamond lights that much... i got the grilles from usspeedonline.com ... 199$ shipped for the main grille and the lower grille (lower one is on back order) .. it was the cheapest i could find the grilles for...

Lookin' good. I've got the upper and lower as well. You'll hate me on price. Got them both, brand new, $70 + shipping from eBay about earlier this year. I love the look.

I had an eBay search running for about 6 months when I got an automated email telling me that the top and bottom were available in two auctions, same seller. I quietly watched the auction until the end, then sniped them both. Obviously, I didn't publicize the auctions on this site.

They are a rare commodity on eBay. However within days of me winning both for $70, just the upper one sold (used) for more than I paid for both. I'm fairly certain I put up the link the auction on this site when I saw that auction.

Nice looking grille. Did you have to cut out your stock grille? How did you attach it without using clips...zip ties?

The clips were a pain to install for me because I had to climb under and it was a difficult angle to get the clips in. I've used mostly zip ties to secure it.

Yup, it fits right into the grille openings. The upper grille is two pieces. Lower is one piece.

That looks nice I like that a lot. That's the type of look I was thinking about before I even knew about the speed grilles. I like that a lot better than the billet style grills.
