Yeah that long piece is giving me some trouble too. Just after that initial 90 degree bend, I have some rubbing on the fan shroud. thought about cutting a little, but then I would have hot air blowing on my intake and that would kind of defeat the purpose of a new intake. I guess that is what I get for trying to use available parts, still trying though. Where does that bracket hook up? I was thinking of making one that would connect to the MAF bolts and then mount to the radiator somewhere.

See the black piece right by the MAFS, well that mounts (I believe) to your stock air box holes that are already there.
