airbag code 19

hi the airbag lite on the dash flashes a code 19. i have no clue what it means i tried to search but found nothing on a code 19. its a 2002 sport 2wd

I looked at my 97 Ford manual and they don't have a code 19. I'm posting the codes that they did list. Maybe someone else will have the 2002 manual. Also, you might want to check again to make sure it is code 19.

does anyone here have any clue what that could mean?

I think that it is saying that it (the SRS computer) is expecting to see 5V from the PCM (EEC computer) but the voltage is too low. This could be due to a wiring problem or a problem with one of the modules.

I would post the schematics, but I only have the 97 manual and it sounds like the system is different for your truck. My suggestion would be to look for a 2002 Ford Truck CD manual on Ebay or possibly download the ISO image for free. See this thread:
