Assateague Island -- summer 09

idk if anyone would be interested but every year I get a year pass for Assateague island. if anyone wants to head down last year we had a blast. there were 3 vehicles and 13 of us. its kinda like you private beach to do whatever. have a fire,cook some food, do some wheeling in the sand. we just rented a motel to shower and stuff and for the girls to stay the one night but other then that we just stayed on the beach. if anyone is interested to join us there more then welcome. they say no drinking but we saw many ppl doin it.

that and I usually hit up raush creek to do some wheelin. that will be july or around there. maybe we can get all the explorers from around here to meet up

oh yeah I think I payed lik 240 or something for a night and day year pass. they have weekend passes also for 40 or 50 I think. if ppl are interested ill call and get prices. maybe a group discount. you just need a shovel, jack, tow strap, and a 12 inch buy 12 inch piece of wood or better. I would say its perfect for a cheap vacation. or a quick weekend get away.

I'm up for it! My wife and I were just talking about going again this year. We usually stay at the Hampton Inn on Chincoteague. It's sort a been a family tradition to go down there for the past 5 years. The beach is a blast!

It is one of the coolest places to visit. These pictures are from 2005 when I had my F-150. The wild horses were all over the beach.

I dont have anything road-legal to drive on the sand though . I might have to rent something for the weekend or whatever.

They were regular halogens with Silverstars. I miss that truck.

you have to pay to drive on the beach. or 10 dollars parking if you don't take your ex on the beach but you know you wanna do it.

im good for after the 4th also ill be down there in june so if we can deside on a date that everyone can go that would be great
