3rd Gen Off Road Light Pictures Wanted!!!!

Anybody know if those universal-ish yakima knock off racks are worth my money? I'd like to do a rack but I'm not trying to break the bank on the rack. I'd like to spend the money on the good lights and save on the rack.

i have hidden driving light behind the grille and two magnetic off road light on the roof

hey stanger how did u mount the lights behind your grille. im thinking on doing the same thing.

they are just bolted to the plastic shroud behind the grille with wide washers and lock nuts

stanger67 i like the set up behind the grille with the lights.if u dont mind me asking, do u have any trouble with the lights getting to hot behind that grille.
cause ive been thinkin about doing that mod but thats the only thing that worries me. melting that damn stock grille

i haven't any problem with heat but they are only 50w lights, they are not as bright as i had hoped but they do help some

stanger how do you attach them again i am new to customizing what would be the easiest way for me? Thanks again.

here are my lights i did what stanger did

The lights behind the grille are just simply bolted to the plastic shroud behind it, you just remove the screws on the top of the grille and pull it out to expose it. Then drill a couple of holes and bolt them in with some lock washers to make sure they don't come loose. They wire them up according to the instructions that come with the lights. The lights on the roof are just held on by a suction cup and magnet mount and then they are just plugged into a 12v.

Thanks guys ill have to try it this weekend ill post some pics.
