Good idea. I'll have to swap mine out. Any suggestions on aligning the lights. I know how to, but I have no flat space (large enough) to do this, I live on a hill...

To tell you the truth, I just adjusted them on my garage door then drove around the block and repeated until I got them the way I wanted them.

Good idea. Thinking of that, I could just park the car somewhere mark where the current low beams are then, just realign them to the mark

That seems like a good deal $50 for not going into a deer haha. My high beams are fine for now so those wont change. Minus going hid I'm not to sure I can do anything with my fogs.

Might have to get some since I sold my old custom radio.
Sold it to a friend...83 bmw 528e, one speaker in the whole car. lol :D

I just figured out my anti-theft system doesn't work... :(

I just park next to nicer cars or convertibles. It's like the saying you only need to be faster than the slowest person.

have a ? for u guys. i seen a couple guys put offroad lights behind there stock grill. how well does that work? does it distort the light and would it melt the plastic grill insert?

Does it melt the grill no i had mine for a few months 55w off road lights and they were noticable but not enough because the light gets cut off by the grill. If you were to put lights behind your grill do at least 100w they would be perfect. I just took mine out to put on my bull bar alot brighter! Good luck! Hope this helps

Got rid of the running boards...next clear corners.
I think it looks better without the running boards, and it looks like it has more ground clearance withouth those running boards.

Opinions: My X look better with or without running boards?

I am partial to leaving the boards.

Update anyone who plans on buying sylvania bulbs DO NOT BUY THEM FROM AN AUTO STORE. Google your bulb and go to shopping. I scored the bulbs for $23.95. I don't really like the running boards but I like the nerf bar almost style ones with the gap between the frame and the board. Eventually I plan on replacing them with some sturdy units so they can take some abuse so my body doesn't.

I think im going to be removing my running boards when i come home from vacation... going to do a little wheeling on the beach this week.

Im in Corolla, NC ( OBX )

Looks good without the running boards. Wish I could take mine off but it would be even uglier with all that frame hanging there from the body lift.

Just bout this 04 XLT

Only have done minor stuff to it so far. HID's, Go Rhino push bar, JVC 7" Touch screen receiver, wind deflectors + bug shield. Would like to get a 2.5" lift and some bigger tires.
