Hello everyone! This is my first thread so bear with me. I was wondering if anybody out here has experience repairing the rocker panels on the 3rd gen. I've done a little searching and found plenty of videos, guides, etc for first and second gens, but not too many for my 3rd gen. 8 years of harsh Wisconsin winters had left them in pretty rough shape when I bought her last year, and every time salt went down the only thing I could think about was how much worse it was getting. With winter coming up again, I would really like to at least do something to stop it from getting any worse. I'll post a few pictures of how extensive the rust damage is. The rockers themselves are pretty bad, and the paint on the inside lip of the front doors are just starting to flake off. I considered spraying it with bedliner but I don't know how to prepare the surface before spraying it. The rockers really don't need to be "pretty" I just don't want them to get worse than they already are. I almost just thought about straight up cutting all of the rust out and spraying that down too. Any help or ideas would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks everyone!

Hit it with "Rust Mort" this will neutralize the rust and then get some paint on it to shield it.... That won't stop it but it will slow it down till you can cut it out and repair it properly...
