Is anyone running this bolt in kit?

Looks like a great option to me...

I like the ones I posted because it has the proper lenses to control the light properly.

The one drawback of LED lights is that they don't produce enough heat to melt away any ice or snow that may accumulate on them. Of course that may not be an issue depending upon where you live. ;)

Houston, Texas - non-issue for me ;)

Anything else? I'm not seeing much wrong with these as long as the product itself doesn't suck.

Ya, the snow and ice accumulation is an issue for us in the north! I've heard that some LED bulbs are going to start to have heaters in-bedded in them to allow for snow/ice melt.

I have these, they are eh! - had TRS HID and may end up reinstalling. For now not worried, but if I had to recommend I'd say nah not worth it.

Eh?? Is it the looks? The light output? Both? Neither?

Don't tell me you're having regrets. Your recent light mods look great, especially with the clear signal and side markers.

Eh, being light output and common sense IMO, the HID's cost 150, this costs 160 now I have the HID's sitting in the garage doing nothing. So for me I shouldn't have done it because its not better overall.

Granted it's fogs, but I was expecting more light output. The reason why I am holding off on swapping it out is just that, the other mods totally compensates for the subpar (by my expectations) light output. I will swap it out when I get bored and need something to do. Looks is fantastic.

Thanks for the comp on the mods

We need pics of these! Led and hid...

Dynamikillu51ons up in the stickys has some nice ones, got a set coming :D

What are TRS HIDs? Are they a H11 retrofit kit that went into the stock housings?

I think the $399 HID fogs above by TLF look GREAT because they have a proper cut off.

Where are the osram's putting the light? Typical pattern for fog or descent cut off? Noticeably brighter?

I see... you could wait until you're bored. Or save 'em for later.

You now have an extra set of HID bulbs/ballasts to put in your headlights when they eventually burn out or if your existing ballasts ever fail. All you have to do is take the H11 HID bulbs/ballasts, remove the connectors and replace them with 9005 connectors. OR.....

I've also discovered that connectors from some HID vendors, are BOTH H11 and 9005 compatible--it depends on how the power and ground wires are inserted into the connector itself. If you remove the power and ground wires from the connector, say from an H11 setup (which can be tricky and a bit time consuming), you can flip them over and they will become instantly compatible with 9005. The difference between the both is the spacing between the contact points within the connector plug.

And since the HID bulbs are the same for both headlights and fogs, you essentially can use them as future fogs, or as a spare set of headlight HIDs :)

I don't know. I shall take a video in the night.
Yes, noticeably brighter + DRL function + lateral lightning function.

To understand better, watch the video in hight quality.

P.S. In the amber DRL I also changed the standard bulbs by LED.

My plan is to just buy a LED bulb...H11 IIRC and plug and play it.

Easy to get to the fogs? I am sure it is

That lateral lighting may be the solution I've been looking for when I'm turning onto side roads at night and can't see anything out of my front windows because of my tint. Is it enough to really make a difference?
