YOUR HELP is GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!

I took my vehicle to a man to get the rear hatch plastic repaired and he broke my glass. I live in Ecuador so things like this are much harder to deal with. At any rate, the man is afraid of breaking the new glass and so he did not tighten the (2) bolts very tight. I don't know if this has anything to do with the outcome or not??

Would some of you be kind enough to please send me a pic of your rear hatch and how it looks?

Here is a pic of the hinge. Please pay attention to the gap between the hinge and the glass... http://s40.photobucket.com/user/ecuador4fun/media/Ford image 1_zpsnxbqyu1z.jpg.html

glass does NOT align with side pillars... http://s40.photobucket.com/user/ecuador4fun/media/Ford image 2_zpsfquujyr4.jpg.html

Hatch glass is LOW... http://s40.photobucket.com/user/ecuador4fun/media/Ford image 3_zpslnoz0hch.jpg.html

Hatch is NOT flush with the body... http://s40.photobucket.com/user/ecuador4fun/media/Ford image 4_zps427turqj.jpg.html

I'll try to get some shots up tomorrow. Does the glass hatch part close properly? I appears to be much lower than it should because the body lines should line up.

Thank you Limited02! The glass does not close properly. The entire unit seems to be about 1/4" too low.

A little dark and rainy this morning, but hopefully answers your questions:

Personally, I'd take it back to the shop and demand they fix it since they are the one that broke it in the first place. They must have been very careless when taking the panel off because replaced mine about 2 months ago and while it was tough, using a little common since I was able to eventually get it off. When I replace it, I think I attached it a little higher than I should have which would explain why the third picture doesn't show the greatest line up with the panels.
