Hey everyone. So it’s been a long time since I last replaced my tensioner and I really can’t remember what kind the ohv uses. I see Gates “round locator pin” and “v locator tab” on amazon, and both are listed as fitting my truck. I think I replaced it with the v tensioner last time but I’m not sure. I’d like to replace it since it’s rattling. Some help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The only way to know for sure is to unbolt it and look at it.

Yeah looks like I’ll have to do that. I think this is the kind I used last time.

“Round locator” style.

DO all the "v" locator tab ones have the spring poking out the side? The round one does not.

So it is the “V” version on the OHV. At least on my 2000.
