I'm surprised we haven't run into each other on the trails. You seem to run the same trails I do when I take off for a spur of the moment run. I've gone through Oraflame Canyon dozens of times. Did Rodriguez Canyon to Blair Valley last month and Valley of the Moon in May.

Very suprised as well, we definitely need to meet up for a run soon. I have 3 other good friends locally that have 1st Gens, that could join us.

Man I love those LED DRLs. I haven’t seen those on a gen1 before and it sure does update the look.

Thank you. Ebay/China is on a constant rotation of availability of lights for these trucks. Was pretty pumped to find these.

Love the DRL lights!! Makes me want a gen I!!!!!!!

Kid has more offroad miles than most adults! I agree on the DRL's, it took me months to finally wire them up though, and it was kind of a pain in the ass since I put them on a switch.

I like where this build is going. Julian is my old hometown. Need to get back down there and do some exploring.

The status of my rear bumper was pretty rough. Somehow this truck turned into a recovery vehicle & I had drug out about 10 people at this point. The dually's and 2500 trucks did took their toll!

Tune up time. New Motorcraft plugs and wires. Can you tell I needed them?

Replaced a leaky power steering line

And went to a solid transmission mount

My favorite upgrade to date. Makes a HUGE difference off road. I also threw in MB quart door speakers, and replaced all the door panel clips while I was at it.

You can see the splice I did into the factory harness to accomodate the puddle lights in the 2nd gen mirrors

I never thought the day would come that I would add a sway bar to a truck. This sway bar is off a 98 with a 5.0, so I'm not sure if it's any different than stock. It helped the ride quality and body roll significantly.

I had been driving around without a drivers door panel since the sound deadner install because of this project. The door clips only work good once, so I needed to make this happen before the panel went on. They do not power anything at this point, and the wires are run into the drivers side kick panel. Inspiration came from the factory limited switches.
