Didn't want to mess with the mufflers since it's the wife daily, so i just updated the exhaust tips instead.

They look sharp:chug:

Looks good.
Much like the factory Sport tips, but those look like they are larger diameter.

Does that make any difference in sound?

The specs on these ones are 2.25" inlet, 4" outlet, 7" lenght.

Still just curious... does that make any difference in sound? I have been told that the large tips on the large trucks make a difference.

I don't think they'll make any difference as they're not resonated exhaust tips. I know in the truck world some people say tips can change their exhaust notes. i haven't experienced that behavior myself. No changes in the Explorer exhaust notes in this case. I also have a RAM 1500 Hemi as you can see in the pics and also added similar exhaust tips to it except for that i went 2.5" inlet, 4.5" outlet 9" lenght. I had no change in notes, and i have a Black Widow 250 muffler in that one cause i wanted more exhaust growl.. Never had an exhaust tip changed the exhaust notes in any vehicle i've had before.
