So my 03 Explorer Sport is not going into overdrive, 4th and 5th gear with OD light blinking. Has codes 0934, 0935. I replaced the valve body assy with a CVB unit with same results. I pulled the OD servo today to see if that may be the issue. Pics added in post. I did take it to trans shop and they put their snap on reader on it, and they said it appears to be an internal issue. The servo looks very good I think. No marks on shaft, and the rubber is pliable and soft. Other opinions?

Can you look up into the bore and see if you can see where the servo pin interfaces with the band? Not sure if an inspection camera will fit up there. I’ve heard of dudes using a long screwdriver to feel for it.

Sometimes that part of the band snaps off, and it can’t engage.

Thanks, I'll check that tomorrow. I have an inspection camera. I'm just about ready to drop the trans and attempt a rebuild myself. Got quotes of $1450 and $1815 for rebuilds from 2 shops.
