What came out with the oil?

I picked up a 4.6 from a 07 crown Vic to swap in my 04. This apparently is part of a check valve of some sort. Was in the drain pan when I drained the oil.

Pressure relief valve from the oil pump.. ? If that came out when draining the oil I'd be pulling the pan off for an inspection.
