A recent Rowher flats run: This was my first outing with all swaybars disconnected...so I had to check the new found flex. Little difference up front (torsion bar/independent...grrrrrrr) but out back no matter how uneven I couldn't get it to spin!!!:D

More: This was also my first outing with my locker installed, which made more of a difference than 2 wheel drive vs. 4 wheel drive. Though the hill I am going up in the pic I could not get up...just too loose, like driving through chalk. But I'll be back when it rains.

This may not look like much in the pic but going up this gravelly hill with open diffs was murder to my car. Now I just keep a little gas on it and I don't even slow down. AWESOME!

My boss: The last time I went here with my boss and another Jeep I was left in the dust. With my minor mods, now there is no issue and I can lead. His flexy coil suspension, limited slip and viscous coupling don't look like much but are nearly unbeatable as a stock vehicle for the price. His did get get temporarily hung a few times.

Last one.

We were buzzed by a Hummer chugging along at a cool 15 miles an hour just before this pic. Those are awesome to watch off road but we also witnessed him backing down a nasty hill that I know X's and Jeeps have been up.

Next time I am gonna try and coordinate to meet some of the Southern California X's. And I'll hopefully have my body lift, 32's and Ranchos by then. Otherwise I'll see everyone at Truck Haven!!! :D

Looks like you have some fun. But shouldn't you be leading the jeep?:D

Of course...I walked back to get that shot!;)

Great pics! I'm gonna move them to the trails forum though.

Why don't you write a little about the run, terrian, etc. Maybe a few notes about how you showed up the heep ;)

You noticed. The problem with "independent suspension" vs. live coils.

Well aware of it, just thought I'd mention it ;)
