Brake Line question with lifts

I am lifting my 00 4dr with a 4" trailmaster lift and a 3" PA BL, do I have to get new brake lines? Or are there like extenders? Someone said I could relocate them, but if someone could tell me exactly how to do that, since I am doing the work myself with a friend of mine (who's a mechanic, i'm just a "mecanic-in-trainning"). Thanks everyone/anyone with input or answers.

You will need three extended brake lines. One for each front tire and one for the rear brakes. Superlift, Skyjacker and Trailmaster should be able to provide you witht the extended brake lines.

Yeah. Even if you remove the rear swaybar your next limiting factor is the brakeline on stock suspention w/shackels.

Hmmm I thought I heard Jefe saying something about bending a bracket to avoid longer brake lines.

might be possible i havent really looked into it. I just remember a post by stic-o with his and you can see the break line streached to the max from flex. I looked for the post but i couldn't find it.

yes, for the rear you can bend the bracket down a good 4". I've got 6" of lift and the stock line still works just fine (barely ). I'm not aware of anyone that makes extended lines for the 2nd gen anyway.

I have installed a 2nd generation diff in my 94. I had to buy extended brake line and replace driver side brake line... works perfect... think I might have a pic in my gallery... let me look...

don't even remember the price on the lines. I got those at Auto Zone. Lines and fittings are readilly available. All you have to do is get bender and flaring tool. They also sell ready lines with fittings on... just need to know the length and bend them along as the originals were.

I've got the complete setup from a gen 2, including the hard brake line. I'm hoping I can get an extended line for the Gen 2. If anyone knows, please let me know.
