I would waste my time or money on a tb. You already have a 65 and that is more than enough for an explorer. I know you have a blower and all but you still have stock heads and cam so until you change those don't worry about the tb. Buy a smaller pulley for the blower.

I don't remember what the code number was. All I can remember is open heater thing. I'll have to get him to put it on the machine for me again if I'm going to need that to fix it.

Alright my check engine light has been on for awhile now. I had the codes scaned and it says "open heater circuit" Well no one I talk to has any clue what this is. Can any body out there help me??

Well I guess it depends on what your going to do with it I guess. I had a t5 in my mustang for years and I could hurt it, but it finally gave up. :) Not sure how much you want to spend but you can get "beefed" up t5's.

You are looking at cheap hoods then. I have had couple glass hoods on mustangs I have owned and they didn't wave. I also looked at the hood troll has on it. They want $650 for the hood. Thats way way to much money for a hood. Someone asked why I want a hood. My factory paint is messed up...

Save your money on the Hypertech, they are a waste of money. I would buy the headers over the chip any day. You will be happier with the headers, and see more power.

Detonating is pre ignition. Many things can cause this. like cheap fuel, to much timing, there are more cause but I hope you get the idea. Did all this happen before you put the K&n on your truck? I would bet that it is the cause, b/c its getting all the hot air from under your hood and feeding...

Yes the O2 sensors can cause your detitination problem. The sensors tell the computer how rich or how lean your motor is running. If you buy new ones (which sounds like you will) buy good ones. I would buy new ones from ford.
