For Sale Second Gen explorer front winch bumper

Winch mounts to the plate in the center. I designed it using the smittybuilt 8000, harbor freight 8000, and Warn 8000. Should fit most 8 to 12k winches. I know the warn 9.5xp has a longer motor and honestly can't remember if it clears or needs 1/4 inch spacers under the mounting points. I...

My understanding is it has to be a legal turnout as well. On 78 and 79 there aren't many of them.

Just in case thing. It is basically a few triangles to gusset the factory mounts and if used with a body lift an additional mounting point higher up to help with leverage.

Depending on the size of the 110V welder you could weld it together just fine. Some of them are rated up to quarter inch. There are a few pieces that weld to the frame rails to reinforce the mounts. However if you wanted to put the stock bumper back on you can simply unbolt this one and bolt...

    Bkennedy's SAS and Rebuild Thread

I thought Keven was running the 1354 based d.d.machine doubler in front of his atlas. That is the dubler I am running and thought when I talked to him in Moab he had the same one. I could be wrong. And Brian, a few posts up you said you were done. Now you are talking about a doubler. It...

For Sale Second Gen explorer front winch bumper

I thought I had responded to you. Sorry for the delay. I have modified the design a bit from what is shown so it can be made to fit stock height or with a 3 inch body lift. To go to a thinner material would require quite a bit of design time to make everything fit up properly. It the end it...

I have MTRs on my Ranger and Tracy Jeep. 37s and 33s. Overall I am happy with them. However I have noticed I have to air down a lot to get them to work. 6 psi in the Ranger and 8 in the Jeep.

Looking good. If the speedo cable ends up being to short you can get on from an Aerostar that might work. It is roughly 9 inches longer if I remember right with the same ends as the Ranger Explorer cable. I am running one in my ranger with my doubler.
