if its reverse threads, does this mean standing in front of the truck looking at the fan, i turn the fan to the right, or drivers side to loosen, right?
im trying to pull my motor apart, what size socket is the hydraulic chain tensioner so i can remove the cam in my 99 SOHC.
i tried a 22mm and it was too small.

my roof cross bars are all peeling so im trying to repaint them, i tried using a power sander, but that didnt work at all. the paint is kind of thick and flaky. what would be the easiest way to get the paint off?
also what is a good paint to use??
i just bought a 98 4 door mountaineer 2wd 4.0l.
it has a really nice almost brand new looking aluminum driveshaft, it does not even look stock at all. do they come stock? also is it a direct replacement for a 4 door explorer?
i lost my keys, i see how easy it is if you can turn it into the run position.but i dont have my keys, so how do i remove the cylinder? also when i put the new cylinder in, where do i take the key to get programmed?
i cannot get the inside passanger side exhaust manifold bolt, not the bolts to the head, the 2 nuts that attatch the rest of the exhaust to the manifolds. its a 98 explorer 5.0 v8.

the light is out on my stock cd player in my 98 explorer, it works very well, im trying to sell it but i dont want to sell it with the light burnt out, any way to fix this??
thing is i bought a 99 explorer and im selling the trans out of it, but the truck did not run, i dont want to sell a bad trans, can i tell if its good or bad without truck not running??
