if its reverse threads, does this mean standing in front of the truck looking at the fan, i turn the fan to the right, or drivers side to loosen, right?

im trying to pull my motor apart, what size socket is the hydraulic chain tensioner so i can remove the cam in my 99 SOHC. i tried a 22mm and it was too small. thanks

you painted the cross bars while they looked like that? half paint/half stripped?

my roof cross bars are all peeling so im trying to repaint them, i tried using a power sander, but that didnt work at all. the paint is kind of thick and flaky. what would be the easiest way to get the paint off? also what is a good paint to use??

i just bought a 98 4 door mountaineer 2wd 4.0l. it has a really nice almost brand new looking aluminum driveshaft, it does not even look stock at all. do they come stock? also is it a direct replacement for a 4 door explorer?

i lost my keys, i see how easy it is if you can turn it into the run position.but i dont have my keys, so how do i remove the cylinder? also when i put the new cylinder in, where do i take the key to get programmed?

its the 5.0 im pulling the heads from. i have a sport also daily driver

how do i get a sawzall blade to cut the inside bolt, i cant even get a socket over there, a blade does not fit

i tried cutting the pipe itself with a sawsall, the blade kwpt binding up. do i cut it up bu where the exhaust meets the manifold?

i cannot get the inside passanger side exhaust manifold bolt, not the bolts to the head, the 2 nuts that attatch the rest of the exhaust to the manifolds. its a 98 explorer 5.0 v8. its killing me, whats the easiest way??

what did they charge to fix it, im trying to sell it so i dont want to put much money into it..

the light is out on my stock cd player in my 98 explorer, it works very well, im trying to sell it but i dont want to sell it with the light burnt out, any way to fix this??

i removed air bag and the 4 screws but cant get the wire loom looking thing that wraps the wheel out of the buttons, i dont want to mess it up

what would the difference in a 5.0 explorer block and a fox body 5.0 mustang block?? whats better?

im trying to pull the trans out of my 99, not coming out too easy. is there trans to block bolt on top of the trans?

what size are the ring and pinion gears and the rear end in my 99 explorer sport? also is it limited slip?

thing is i bought a 99 explorer and im selling the trans out of it, but the truck did not run, i dont want to sell a bad trans, can i tell if its good or bad without truck not running??

what years and models will the auto transmission from a 99 explorer sport be universal with?
