Happy Thanksgiving!
Took a little longer for pics cause we just moved. I really like the outcome though.
That's all for a little. Hella 500s w/ 3000k HIDs are going in the stock foglight spot, just waiting on the time to install them. Also I have a few more top secret...
Too late, I went up to the body line with it this weekend lol I'll get pictures up later. The chain is cause I had to pull a buddies quad out of a hole along that access road.
So this weekend will be my last free one for a while. I am having trouble decided whether to just redo the existing Herc or go up to the body line the entire way around. Opinions and/or pictures would be great.
Here are some recent pictures of what it looks like now, she's been around the...
Vehicles aren't made to leak, so it isn't good that yours is. It just depends on how much fluid you're dealing with. My oil pan is always a little wet on the bottom but it never drips or sprays on anything, so it's not something to worry about. Just climb under there and try to locate where it's...
Well the housings are going to be Hella 500s. But I decided to go w/ 35w just to be on the safe side. Appreciate the help though! Pictures will be posted once done.
Today I modded my bumper and fascia to house Hella 500s. They'll be mounted up front and i'm going to do an HID conversion. Would stock wire handle 55w or should I go with 35w? 55w should be fine but I want to make sure.
Thanks!
The rims are 9" outside edge to outside edge. The suspension lift included the 1" TT, my fault. :D If I bump them up to 35x12.5 then I have already decided I'm going with Super Swamper M16s.
Section width is 11", tread width is 9". The body lift, which will be sloped, is to lift the front end to correct the rake from a SOA. So the question still stands about the tires
As the title says, would 275/65r20 Duratracs look like pizza cutter w/ a 5" suspension, 3" bl and SOA?

That was the type of install I was going for. Except with a smaller switch of course and some how keeping the stereo and ECM hot for memory.
I know how doors work, I was referring to a wedge to pry the door away enough to get a slim Jim in and hit the power lock. If someone wants it bad enough to tow it in the middle of the night in an apartment complex while I'm sleeping then so be it.
I'm trying to come up with a solution so...
I had a brainstorm to install a hidden Killswitch on the Ex in order to prevent anyone stealing it. It would be ideal to cut all power so a slim jim becomes ineffective and the window would have to be broken to get in. Even then it couldnt be stolen because nothing would work. However I would...
No I actually didn't notice the brackets. I was wondering how you went about fixing the gap between the hitch and bumper that happens after a BL. But you don't have one.
I have never used the AC in the 4.5 years of owning the Ex. Midnightrebel said he gained 1mpg after removing his compressor so I'm hoping for that. Plus an under drive pulley will be on order soon. Also less drag on the engine too.
So I bypassed the AC compressor today and I bought 4 different belt lengths. I measured the distance between the frame and tensioner with the stock belt and came up with 5.75 inches.
Then a 71 inch belt was installed and the measurement was 6.1 inches. Which is more tension than stock.
I then...
So I was looking under the hood at the compressor today and wouldn't it be possible to just bypass the AC with a shorter belt and not remove the compressor? In case one wanted to put the belt back on for a long road trip and then put the short one on for around town. I don't see any harm by...
