FROADER's 2010 XLT
Eh... Low RPM it sounds good, but anything above 2500 and it's ricey... Might swap it out for a Dynomax super turbo like I had on the 92.- FROADER

I would take that as: A Since it won't be much at all compared to the amount that will be in the shock, just adding the available 5wt shock oil.- FROADER

FROADER's 2010 XLT
It does have the steering wheel controls, but I didn't hook them up. They were hooked up on my F150, but the wiring is just a little different so they didn't work on this. It should be as easy as buying the wiring harness and hooking it up.- FROADER

FROADER's 2010 XLT
It's definitely not as clean as a dedicated boxed sub, but I can get it pretty close since it has an adjustable cross-over built in. It's under the back seats, so it's out of sight, out of mind and does the job I wanted it to do. I have a 12" in a box that I could have put in, but I didn't want...- FROADER

FROADER's 2010 XLT
Small update: I've had a blown speaker in the rear passenger door for a while now and I finally took care of it last weekend. I replaced all door speakers with Pioneer TS-G6844R 6x8s And added a Pyle 10" (low-profile) amplified sub just to fill the sound a little. It works perfect for what...- FROADER

92 4x4 axle swap options?
A d44 rear is not stronger than the 8.8. you can go d60, sterling 10.25/10.5 or a 14 bolt. The front is also stronger than any "replacement" you can find unless you go straight axle with a built d44 or a d60.- FROADER

tire size question
I didn't even pay attention to the width of tire to wanted. You'll probably run a little with that size, since it's so wide. Why do you want such a wide tire? They are going to look like boxes under there.- FROADER

tire size question
You'll be fine and could even go bigger. I recently put a 265/75/16 (32") on mine with a 1.25" spacer (front only) with no rubbing at all. Another member with the same rig put the same size with no spacer with little or no rubbing. Mine with the 1.25" spacer. asull85's with no lift.- FROADER

Glasspack on my V6 Explorer
They're all going to sound a little hollow except the Dynomax Super Turbo like swshawaii mentioned. I had one on my 92 and it sounded great. Nice and low, but not too loud. I just put a Magnaflow on my 2010 v6 and it sounds like your glass pack. I didn't change the size of the pipe though, so...- FROADER

How big of tires can I go
Do you know what gears you have already? Code on the door sticker will let you know. The reason I bring this up is that depending on what you have, the tire size could severely affect your acceleration and mpg. I have 265/75/16 on my 2010 with 3.55 gears. It blows and I lost ~4mpg. I'm going...- FROADER

Bkennedy's SAS and Rebuild Thread
Mine was not moved forward at all, and I had to cut the rear of the fender so i was only using one bolt instead of 2. It rubbed a little with the 35s and once I got the Interco "true" 36s, there was no chance. If I had the choice, I would have liked mine 2-3" forward. Excited to see this come...- FROADER

I don't remember: I see you covered the holes in the top of the cab, but did you plan on keeping the bed separate from the cab (cage wise) or is that coming back?
