    More lift options?

your talking about this lil drawing--> \-/? thats spossed to be the alignment with way to much camber (the tires riding on the outside of the tread. looking at the front of the truck in that little thing). at first i thought you meant the tire on my actual car, but those are fine

haha i know how to weld, i just don't have a welder ($$$$$$)! adn im not the greatest at fabrication, but that would defenetly change if i had a welder :D with the amount of air time my truvk has had, it sould be snapped in half by now (in pismo, its gonna be off the chain, youl see how i...

    Project X = Tires ???

bfg m/ts is my vote. if your gonna be doing only baja and you have millons of dollars, then go with the baja's (the tire almost every desert racer has) i like my mickey thompsons's alot, and they do REALLY good on the street for some reason.

Axle arm brackets: what to look for

jumping is not good, its great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i made my own drop brackets for my bumpstops, but they still don't work and my wheel just bottums out on the inner wheel well. so i guess my wheel well is my bumpstop haha

    More lift options?

they're 33x12.5 on a 8" rim as far as suspension, you can do either f-150 coil seats or 2" spacer or 1.5" springs in the front. any more then about 1.5-2 inches and then you have to start doing things like drop brackets for the beams and radius arms, or else your alignment will be way out \-/...

    Help! Tempted by Jeep

oh yeah, and for a 4x4 ford truck, i would say a 4 cyl 5spd ranger reg cab. i hear people get 25 mpg with those all the time. and from what i've researched when i was looking for one, people say they get about 19 with a bii

    Help! Tempted by Jeep

umm not trying to harsh on ford or anything, but don't they have there problems too? i mena yeah i don't really like jeeps, but fords are known for haveing problems and breaking down too. all cars have there problems and all cars brake and suck like that. i think xj's are cool (but not for 3500$...

Axle arm brackets: what to look for

James Duff lift - too high in front!!??

oh yeah, was your truck perfectly level to begin with?
  20. R.J.

Axle arm brackets: what to look for

i would say yes the bottum pair is skyjacker. the middle pair i don't know. i've had really old superlift ones and they look like the first pair, but i think most of the cheap brackets prety much all look like that
  21. R.J.

    More lift options?

the taller one has 33's and a 4" lift, the shorter one (my dd) has 31's and 1.5" springs in front (stock rear) sorry i don't have any pictures of it without fender flares :/

    Pismo beach-Part Deux August 10-12

stupid lift has already replaced both of my axle drop brackets for free, and im not even the first owner, i got the whole kit off this site for 290$. honestly, i don't want any more superlift r.a.'s!!!!! the one thats broken now had a crack a long time ago and we reinforced on both sides and it...

Difference between 2wd and 4wd Coils? - Skyjacker Lift Coils...

in some cases, 2wd coils are longer then 4wd coils. i've heard you can try to lift your 4x4 by puting 2x4 coils in it, although it might not align right. (this i heard from talking to john at autofab)

    Pismo beach-Part Deux August 10-12

yup, it got us about three miles on a dirt trail till' we got to the big bear lake. yeah i had the "tie down mod" broke it, then got the "broken tie down tied to a broken tow strap" mod
  25. R.J.

    More lift options?

32's with a five inch lift should be fine. i've got 33's and a 4" lift, but i like to keep it low though.

    Build the 4.0 w/ C-4 or do a V-6/V8 swap??

in the end, you'll be happiest with the v8, but i voted for swapping in somehting out of the norm, just cause it would be interesting :)
