Deathrow Update #3
Okay, new thing, bulb for the rear wiper. Anyone know of an LED, plug and play, replacement for that one? Haven't been able to find that one for a while. Again, even just the bulb type is helpful, knowing what to search exactly would be great- DemonMudder

Just get a flathead screwdriver and twist it to the left, should just be able to flip it over and it will come right out.- DemonMudder

1999 Explorer/1955 F-100 swap
Looking bloody fantastic! Can't wait for you to have it finished! You may be able to wire in some resisters for the blinkers, at least the driver side since you said the passenger side is fine. "Should" slow it down, keyword being should. But good luck man, coming along great!- DemonMudder

Deathrow Update #3
Well, I was bored with some of the LEDs today and did part of my project, looks pretty good so far. Still need to do the sides, when I decide how I want to now that I'd like them to be LED too. But hey, gotta edge your way into the mud before charging straight in, so, plan I will lol- DemonMudder

Will I be hated. 96 explorer may take trip to metal yard. need something?>
Well if you're still going to possibly part it out, a few things I may ask about if my junkyard trip on tuesday doesn't work out! Looking to make my interior lights blue, so I'm looking for older dash modules in good condition, which is troublesome thanks to the age! But I may just redneck...- DemonMudder

Will I be hated. 96 explorer may take trip to metal yard. need something?>
Honestly, I agree with them, rather than junking it, find someone who would take it. If I had the space for it, I'd take it in a heartbeat. As well, a junkyard won't get you too much for it compared to finding someone here that will buy it off you. Just hang on a little bit and ask around, post...- DemonMudder

Who's Here From Florida?
I'm off sundays & mondays, getting her taken in for the dif next week, hoping that won't be too long. Sadly I don't know any other people with explorers, seen a couple around, know where a few stay. Some of my family would probably join in their trucks though- DemonMudder

New to the forum, anyone had experience doing light off-road on a 2WD V6?
Honestly a good set of tires would definitely help a lot, and knowing how to drive in mud. My older brother used to have a 2WD chevy blazer, think it was a '97, but he used to mud that sucker through mud puddles that others would probably get stuck in. Dude even used stock tires at stock height...- DemonMudder

98-01 tailgate swap to 95-97
Honestly, I hadn't thought about doing this before, but now that y'all are...that's so tempting to do, I prefer the older look and if I hadn't just recently had the whole thing painted, I'd probably go for it. I've looked into (still debating) on swapping the front bumper to a '97 as well, like...- DemonMudder

Deathrow Update #3
Well I haven't found a nice set of buttons for the steering wheel, may buy them new. But I found the fog light, rear wiper, etc... buttons from a '97 at the junkyard, so finally some blue crap, going to slap those in soon. Still need the 4WD and such though too. Waiting for my gauge cluster leds...- DemonMudder

2wd and 4wd Lifts.
Bringing this back, can anyone still find the 4" superlift front kit? I've been searching and hunting and can't find it. Have you installed Aftermarket Headlights? Share your feedback here!
Mine are by a company named Anzo, not the greatest quality of plastic mounts, busted one on each headlight so far, working on a new redneck mount. But I mean they look great otherwise! Pricing, well...not exactly cheap, almost $300 (when I bought them at the beginning of the year, they were way...- DemonMudder

Solved How do you install warrior shackles?
You shouldn't need to watch ALL of it, but it does show how to remove the OEM shackles. Putting the warrior shackles on will be the same thing in reverse, used the same video to do mine a while back. Hope it helps, good luck, let us know how it goes!- DemonMudder

Deathrow Update #3
So, taking her in on Monday to have the front dif looked at and get an estimate. Hopefully have them go ahead and start on it. But in the meantime, ordering bulbs for the interior. For the most part I know what i need but I found the ones behind the: rear wiper, fog light, etc.. have a bulb I...- DemonMudder

Guage and Dash Lights
I'm planning to do the exact same thing, just need to find the leds, and be sure I know EXACTLY what I'm doing. Thinking of doing blue for most of it, but things like: the check engine, seatbelt, such as that can be a green like the speed control. That way the more urgent things still stand out...- DemonMudder

Solved Maybe not so Urgent Issue
And yep, running like a charm. That's what I get for cheap parts. Cables "look" to be fine, and as said: replaced the ends and so far so good. I'll definitely end up looking into replacing the cables too for that exact reason though. But for right now, everything seems good so I'll stick with...- DemonMudder

Solved Maybe not so Urgent Issue
Yes we tested it, held a charge and we even got it topped off at 13 volts with 0 issue. And no, it's a bad positive clamp apparently, (I think). I knew we kind of rednecked it together to begin with, clearly busted, was cheap anyway. But we took it off, and we put it back to try and jump it...- DemonMudder

Solved Maybe not so Urgent Issue
My '99 Ford explorer and it drove just fine yesterday. Went to start it this morning and....nothing. Just, nothing. I can turn things like the visor on, the battery reads just fine. Replaced the alt a few months ago. The ignition fuse is good, could be a starter? I put the key in, there is like...- DemonMudder

Honestly, the coil over conversion kit is something I'd 100% buy. I'll probably wait for some of y'all to get 'em and review 'em first. But overall I like...- DemonMudder

recommendations for headlight assemblies?
Probably have to take the brush guard off or at least the headlight guards (if yours are bolted on like mine). I just unbolt the headlight guards and I have full headlight access, without taking the whole dang guard off. Honestly I did mine in less than an hour, no issues, saves a few bucks...- DemonMudder

recommendations for headlight assemblies?
I mean, I went with Anzo's headlights. It's a black frame but a clear lens. Look nice and work well, they do swap the low beam to H3 and the high beam to H1 bulbs. But it comes with them as well, already in the headlight assembly. So it's pretty much plug and play, only bulb you'll keep stock is...- DemonMudder
