I know you are lowered but do you run an under-carriage cowl, kind like a skid plate, between the front bumper and suspension? I have a Gen1 so I don't know G2 or G3 came with them.- Albino 94LTD

My quest for 30 MPG - Ford Explorer Gas Mileage Tips
Mass inertia Aldive, I am wondering how much effect all that weight you put in your rig (scuba takns and people) has on your mostly flat trip? I figure your are kinda like a freighter hear in Puget Sound, put it in neutral and I bet you will coast 2 miles before stopping. How about a...- Albino 94LTD

Shaking when braking hard
Loose wheel bearings can exsaperate the shaking from even slightly warped rotors, you might want to check those. Can't help with the pedal feel. Does it slowly sink to the floor when you keep your foot on it?- Albino 94LTD

I think I busted my hubs...
I just switched to manual hubs cause my auto's wouldn't engage anymore but before they quit all together, I got the same Klunking sound. When I took the auto hubs off I tried to figure out how they work, here is my assumption. The cam on the spindle nut pushes the cam in the flange...- Albino 94LTD

do i need a counterweight??
I wish I could do more work myself but the boat is in the garage and I'm lacking some tools. I think I have seen posts about Sport's vibrating too. A grand for Ford to do it is consistant with the $324/hub they want for new atuo-hubs vs the $200 it costs to switch to Warn's! Someome...- Albino 94LTD

do i need a counterweight??
The dampers were an effort by Ford to minimize a design flaw where the vibration frequency of the drive train sets up a harmonic vibration in the frame rails. The dampeners were designed by Porsche but my vibration is the same with or without them. Some newer Ex's have a transverse mounted...- Albino 94LTD
