A 94 Explorer that caught my eye
I passed through my hometown on a trip and got to see an old boss from my first job. The Salvage yard is always a treasure hunt. While there I noticed a 94 explorer with 2 flat tires, covered in dust. The story I was told, the spouse of my old boss, her son bought it and died 2 months later...- Josh P

Josh P's class 8 trucks
Here's some pictures of my semi trucks and my projects working on them. Swapping disc brakes axles under all them, one truck at a time. I didn't get pictures of the leaf spring replacement on one truck. The springs it needs are out of stock everywhere so I got a set of used 9k springs and...- Josh P

Josh P's 05 Jeep Liberty diesel
A few years back, I found a decent looking Jeep liberty diesel on Craigslist. $3,800 for a running, driving diesel was an ok deal. There was a folder full of maintenance records, including a new timing belt. I drove it home, shut it off and it never restarted. I scrapped the pos VM diesel so it... -

Aerostar camper.
I like the bumper on this van. A few years ago, the previous owner was a member that was active for a few messages in this forum. He posted it for sale on craigslist in Escondido, CA. The current owner posted a message after I linked the ad to a thread that had photos of the van here. I can't...- Josh P

84 Bronco II driveshaft
I'm working on a 1984 Bronco II that has a broken rear driveshaft. The shaft is a double cardan style, the tube is bent and the cardan joint is cracked so I'll need a replacement. What other vehicles have a driveshaft the same length? -

My van finally died.
My $400 investment finally failed me 5 years later. The van started to use coolant and none was leaking externally. I added water for a few days till a gasket let go. This van needs way too much work, this was the final straw for it. I will focus my attention on building the other van now. I...- Josh P

My Jeep
I bought my 99 grand cherokee new in november of 98. It has been a very reliable car to me. I have only had to replace the window motors, water pump and oil pressure sensor. The front axle bushings wore out twice, I finally got aftermarket control arms to cure the death wobble. I have done a few... -
New engine build.
Over the last few months I have been gathering parts for my performance build. I have bought a new 4.0L short block, 422 cam, and a M90 supercharger. I also got a complete sohc 4.0L off craigslist for $100. The plan is to take the rotating assembly out of the sohc block and put it into the ohv...- Josh P

I got a 422 cam and borla headers. Months ago before his part out started I made a request to buy those items and he stated when the engine is disassembled I'd be notified. Vacuum booster and master cylinder replacement.
I got some used parts from my favorite junk yard. I learned a few things and get to redo most of the job I started and cannot finish till I get paid next week. 90-91 vans use a different booster than 92 up and 89 down. The pedal rod is shorter on the 92 up, I found out the hard way. The...- Josh P

Today I had some free time so I went to a U pull it yard in south phoenix. There were 4 aeorstar vans, 3 of them in better condition than the one I'm driving. I pulled the grille off an 87. Here is a craigslist find for $150. Needs a new rear countershaft and bearing. It is about the same overall size as a 302. 7K rpm redline, 315 hp and 325 tq. Looks like it would fit in the van after I replace the broken parts.- Josh P
