Maybe I'm just old and grumpy, but somehow a 4500 lb SUV towing almost 5000 lbs behind it at "85-90 mph" doesn't seem "just fine". Slow down dude! Sure it pulls just fine, but just wait till you have to try to stop that much weight going that fast. Hope you have your legal affairs in order.

You might get more responses in the towing forum. Odds are, probably not. How heavy is the boat? My Mounty V6 without a towing package only tows about 3300 lbs, IIRC. I don't know how much the towing package adds, but I'm sure the boat will be heavier. A 23 foot boat is F150 territory...

Exact same thing here. I can get up to 22 on the highway with the V6, but wifey never does any better than about 14 in the city. Leadfoot lady:cool:
