I just got new subs and I understand that all subs sound different but these seem to be more hollow sounding and it seems as if they are rattling. I think it may be because they are not screwed in tight enough. Any other suggestions as to what may be causing the hollow sound and the rattling?

When playing music at high levels for a long period of time my subs just go out...I don't know if this is because it is overheating and it is a safety precaution or what but its very irritating. It goes back on after a few minutes but it may go off again by itself if I keep it loud. Any ideas...
