Did a flush and the noise is still there. Only when I turn the wheel to the right and while driving. When stopped and I turn the wheel it's quiet. Think the rack is bad?

When I turn the wheel to the right while driving I can hear a whining sound and can feel it in the wheel. It makes the noise while driving straight but not as loud and doesn't make it at all when I turn the wheel to the left. Any suggestions what this noise is? Thanks in advance

my explorer must have some serious issues. i get at best 14mpg

Just throwing it out there that you might not have to cut it off and reweld it. You could heat it and bend it back into place. It won't be perfect but it will be easier. If you decide to weld cut it with a grinder and MIG weld it

better check your harmonic balancer before it comes apart...

i had the same issue.. mine is the harmonic balancer. if i were you i would change it before it blows and causes major problems
