I have a 1996 explorer and it has a plastic seat piece/cover on the side of it which is intended to cover the mechanical/sliding parts under the seat. It hooks on with a screw and two fasteners. Both fasteners, after some wear and tear, have broken, so the cover does not stay in place anymore...

Does anyone know how to fix/replace the really thin black rubber that covers the plastic shell cover located right under the radio ('96 Explorer)? I took my radio out to put a new one in and, d'oh, messed it up a bit. Thanks.

Thanks Thank you for the response. It will be my first time removing the door trim panel. It's a big panel, though. Where do I start to get that sucker out?

I have a 1996 Explorer which needs a new driver's side mirror thanks to some knuclehead who decided to punch it out. Anyway, I have the replacement part but need some help putting her in. Can anyone help with some directions? Thanks.
