where is the IAC located? on occassion, when I start my truck, it feels like it is going to die at idle, sputtering and missing real bad until I start driving. Easy to replace yourself? I am going to clean the MAS this weekend.

pop the lens out with a small flat head screwdriver. the bulbs are hot though!

what mileage to replace shocks? how many miles till one should replace the stock shocks? I have 135K on my 95, and it bounces and takes holes quite hard.

Mine does the exact same thing! my 4wd indicators go out when the headlights are turned on, and my speed control and od light no longer function, but the systems work fine. i have no radio lights, but the display works. post a fix asap please!

I have the same problem. except mine only does it on right hand turns. Advance auto has a switch for $60. Is this an easy do it yourself job/ I figure if I can take the dash apart to change the bulbs, this shouldn't be that difficult.

battery light came on this morning, but volt gauge never moved. This evening, she cranks fine, runs fine, dash lights and head lights are dim, volt gauge is now near the bottom, and the batter light is still on. I turn off the headlights and accesories and start to drive, volt gauge shoots...

Mine kind of does the same thing, except my gauge never makes it to the midway marker, when I accelerate it drops back to the bottom of the normal range. Under steady driving it stays a tad above the normal marker. Should I change my thermostat?

speed sensors they cost like $35 each. from what i have read on here, the rear one you can change easily. for the front, you have to remove the transfer case motor. I am still a newbie here.

do a search on here for 4wd lights. I just had to replace mine, and I got 6 blinks. The dealer charged $350 for the motor and $105 for the front speed sensor, installed. If you are handy, you can do it yourself and save some $$$$$. I didn't have the tools and time to do it.

do you have to replace the assembly when you do the front brakes? I am at about 50% wear on mine, and plan on doing something in the next month or so.

95 xlt 4x4 with 134K. just acquired last week. got a new t-case motor saturday, new dash light bulbs. had a tranny rebuild at 121K. Needs front brakes. Radio lights don't work, but display and radio work just fine. 4wd lights go out when headlights are turned on. That's about it...

I should have checked before I buttoned it back up, but I missed a light, so It will be coming apart again next weekend. What a pain. the 4wd system does work at least.

How do I check the grounds? It's possible I pulled something loose, but all other lights/electrical functions work fine.
