Alright, my MAF is FUBAR..I have a 96 4.0 with the OHV. My question is will a 93 4.0 MAF work on my engine? I would really rather not spend $259.13+ to get a new MAF. Also, if anyone thinks it would be helpful, how can i attempt to clean it. I have not found instructions on it, just to use...

Alright, well its time to face the truth...my v6 is gettin kinda high in miles and i was wondering if anyone thinks it would be worth it to swap a 5.0 or something of the like, maybe even a 4.6 if i can get my hands on one. Or should i just sell the explorer when the 6 dies and buy a 5.0...

i have a thumping comming from the front of my explorer. its not all the time just once in a while and as soon as i tap the breaks it goes away for a while. i have been told it could be the cv joints or u joint (dont know how that could be) but i am running out of ideas..it usually happens...

alright im clueless....it happens when im just sitting, the rpms go from about 850 to 1250 and it goes up and down a couple times...i have been told it could be a leak somewhere in the engine, my variable valve timing, or my plugs(i dont think it is because i just had a tune up about 10k ago) it...

I was out driving last night and i was in 4wd auto and noticed that my transmission wasnt shifting out of first. so i figured that it was locked in 4wd or something. so i stopped and pulled it out of auto, and still wouldnt shift out of first. could this be anything but a tranny gone bad?
