I think the hood was a $1300 option for saleen. The body kit was about $2000 for the 2 bumpers, side kit and rear spoiler.

You could check your local junk yards for it. Or PURPONY might still have his old bumber and renforcement- It is a 96 limited already painted black- I replaced my chrome one with a limited what a differtance. Looke under explorer sport trucks and click on pictures. Mine is the Green One.

You need the reenforcement behide the bumper. Get a hold of PURPONY he just did the swap. I am sure he could help you out!!!!

Jornum, What does the keystone spoiler look like? Can you post a picture of it? Also, I am a body man and 8 out of ten times anything aftermarket you have to make it fit. Takes alittle time but worth it in the overall apperance!!!!

You are correct. That was my fault. The 894 and 896 have the 90 degree bend. My bad

They are the same bulb. The only differance is where the wirining plugs in. One plugs in straight in to the bulb and the other plug in on a 90 degree angle.

A 893 light will should fit. They sell them on e-bay. Ordered mine Still waiting for them. Hopefully this week they will come in.

Hey QuadCam how is your truck on nitrous? I had a nitrous express kit on a dodge dart with only 100 shot and it drop my 1/4 mile times down 1 full second. Boy that S@#t is fun!!!

Supercharge? Anybody ever think about a turbocharger? I know they don't have a kit for explorers, But maybe you could take the time and make one from a 5.0 mustang work. Any ideas??

P.S. Pur Pony is correct the blocks are 2" I had a machine shop cut 1/2" off of them. So I lowered it 1 1/2".

All of that is correct. The U-bolt that come in the 6100 kit work. The axle tube on the explorers are 3 1/8" and the U-bolt that come with the kit are 3" so alittle effort is needed. I have since replaced the bolts.

Just go to the Auto Parts store and get them. That is what I did. MOOG makes the kit. It is like $15 and you need 2 kits. Dont forget to get new U-bolts the stock ones are to short.

Has anybody bought a Superchip for they'r Explorer 5.0? I am looking to buy one. So I need to know if they are worth the money? Is it a noticeable performance change?
