Hey guys, I have the stock 235 65R18 rims and tires on my 07 sport trac LTD. I am looking at a set of 265 65R18 LT and the over height changes from 30" to 31" approximately... will this be an issue? I hear it can cause problems to my speedometer, ABS brakes and possibly the 4x4 and diffs...

So new problem, my dome light is now randomly turning on and my headlight switch when set to automatic only works intermittently.... I noticed that if I wiggled the key while driving once he done light turned on it would shut off but Only if it had turned on.... I can't make it go on by...

If the steering wheel control unit has RAP then this isn't necessary, At least that is what I have read... I will be installing mine in a week or so once it arrives, will let you know how it turns out

Hey Guys, so far I love my sport trac! but there are a few lets say aesthetic things that I want to tackle.... I am a DYI kinda guy and hate taking my vehicles in for anything (unless its under warranty and I don't have to pay for it) otherwise I prefer to do all my own work.... Having said that...

So quick update, its in the shop today... got a call from the mechanic... he thinks that the software for the the transmission needs to be updated as he told me "it seems that the transmission appears to be having difficulty finding the gears and it is hard shifting" as he found it was having...

Hope to get mine sorted out soon....

Well I am sure glad the guy gave me a warranty for it... guess a fluid change and new spark plugs and coils would be a good start

If it is the plugs and coil pack... Wouldn't it still do this even with the Over drive disabled? I get the lagging or hesitation in the 80-100kmh range with o/d on but as soon as I turn it off he hesitation goes away... tgis is frustrating as we just bought this truck....
