I have the same set up on my '07 sport trac. I do like the increased ride height, and like the look of the 255/70 r18 tires. I went with Nitto Crossteks. They have a nice off-road tread pattern that looks pretty awesome, and there is no annoying road noise. I couldn't be happier with them...

Sorry for the delayed response. I don't remember where I bought the replacement bearing. I think I had just Googled a search for the bearing. The cheapest price is see it for now is on ebay. It's about $150 now. It wasn't too hard to replace, just a pain having to pull the driveshaft out.

That's a lot of parts you've thrown at that thing. Sounds like either a blown head gasket or a cracked head. 45 minutes of constant bubbling isn't a good sign. And it now sounds like your water isn't circulating thru the heater core. That could be the heater hose valve.

You may have to get a new radio. If your set on keeping a factory style, there are websites that sell them, but they're not cheap. You can get a much better aftermarket one for less. I'm running a double din Kenwood. I got it from Sonic Electronix for about $120.

Does anyone know if a caster/camber bolt kit is available for the '07-'10 Sport Trac (specifically for the '07)? I need to do a front end alignment and I don't want to take it in only too be told I'm not ready. I've done some searching, but everything seems to be for the '05 and older.

X 2 on the eBay hubs. The old saying "you get what you pay for" really applies here. Check rockauto for some fair hub prices. Also, the ball joints will make noise too when they start to go, but it's usually more of a popping sound.

I did tint them originally with some night shades paint, but they blocked too much light. I found these on ebay. The lenses are tinted, but the light still shines thru pretty bright. But I also changed the bulbs from the 9145 to 9005 silver star ultras.

I found this ST emblem on ebay. I thought it went well with the Sport Trac.

I used Rust-oleum' peel coat (their version of plasti-dip). The color is Graphite and it has some metal flake in it, but not too much. I used the same paint on my grill, then it's put several layers of clear coat over it. So far so good. The bugs haven't been able to chip it yet.

Here's the fan bolted into the shroud. I'll use foam weatherstripping to fill the gaps to give it a good seal. (dead link)

I'm using the Volvo electric fan relays along with the BMW dual temperature sensor mounted in the upper radiator hose. (dead link)

I have this same set up in my '02 F150. It's modeled after the Mad Enterprise Electric Fan Kit using a 2 speed fan from a 1999 Mustang GT (any year model compatible to the '99 works). (dead link)

I had to replace mine too. I was able to find a replacement bearing on both ebay and amazon. It was still about $130. Kinda high, but not as bad as replacing the whole driveshaft.

I'd love to get a bed cover for my '07 sport trac. I really like the factory hard folding cover, but not the price. Does anyone have any recommendations for a hard folding bed cover for these things?
