I have a 4D '98 Explorer XLT 4.0 Liter SOHC. The muffler on my X has to pipes in and one out. What is the diameter of the two pipes in and the one out, respectively? Does anybody know? Thank you, Eric

I have a 4D '98 Explorer SOHC. It JUST started to shudder when you turn the wheel. It does this more when the engine is operating at lower speeds. Does anyone have any ideas about what is going on? It does it in either direction you turn the wheel. ??? Thanks Eric

Hello, How much does a run of the mill 4D, 2WD, V6 Explorer weigh? I'm curious and can't seem to get a straight answer anywhere. I have a '98 XLT SOHC.

I want to take the emblems off my '98 Explorer. I am talking about the ones on the back gate. The Explorer, XLT ones. I hear the '98 will have no holes to worry about. How would I take these off? Is there any certain way to take them off? Thanks. Eric

I have a 1998 Explorer and the radio backlight for the display burned out. Does anyone have any experience fixing this problem? Everything else on it works... the lights in the buttons, its just the display itself that is not working. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Eric

Is the 4.0 Liter V6 SOHC belt driven or chain driven? I would imagine it is belt driven, but I really am not sure. Can anyone illuminate this subject for me? Thanks. Eric
